1. There will be two (2) 20-minute halves with a maximum 3-minute half-time.
2. The clock will stop for free throws time-outs and for every whistle the last minute
of the first half and last two minutes of the second half and over-time periods, or at any
time that the referee indicates to the table to stop the clock.
3. Coaches are responsible for informing their players about the tournament rules and
for controlling their players and fans. Only players, one head coach, and one
assistant coach may be on the team bench.
4. A flagrant foul will result in an automatic ejection(under referee discretion),
two (2) penalty free throws and ball awarded out of bounds to the offended team.
5. All technical fouls are two shots and ball out of bounds.
6. All bench technical fouls are charged to the offender and to the head coach. Two
(2) shots and ball out of bounds. Maximum number of technical fouls before
ejection is two (2), although a player, a coach, and/or a spectator an be ejected after one
(1), if deemed necessary by the official.
7. A player can participate with only one team in the tournament. Once he is listed on
the roster and enters a game for any amount of time he must play on that team.
8. Teams should arrive 15 minutes prior to the scheduled game time.
9. If a scheduled team does not have at least four (4) players present and ready to
play, the Commissioner will declare a forfeit after a 5 minute grace.
10. Players are given six (6) personal fouls before fouling out of a game. Technicals
count towards, both, personal and team fouls.
11. Each team will be allowed two (2) full (60 seconds) timeouts in 1st half and two (2) full
(60 seconds) and one (1) twenty second time out in the 2nd half.
12. One and one on seventh, Double bonus begins on 10th team foul.
13. During last minute of each half, the offensive team has the option of taking the ball out
at the spot closest to the spot or at half court.
14. Overtime will be an extension of the fourth quarter and will be three (3) minutes in length
until a winner is declared. All game time situations will stay, as is. All timeouts, are
cancelled and each team will have one full and one 20 second time out, only.
15. An ejected participant/spectator must leave the gym immediately and may not return to
the premises until his/her second game following the ejection. However, at the discretion
of the commissioner, may be barred from the tournament.
16. No profanity or disrespect towards officials or scorekeepers will be tolerated.
17. No smoking, drugs or alcohol are permitted.
18. Certified officials will referee all games.
19. All players must be at least 18 years old at the start of the tournament.
20. Each team will provide their own numbered jerseys, both light and dark.
21. Rosters are closed after the 1st game of the tournament except as approved by the
Commissioner.
22. The Tournament Committee reserves the right to adjust payout based on team enrollment
and participation
23. Referees judgment cannot be protested.
To officially protest a game there is a $250 protest fee. The protest must be filed within one (1)
hour of the end of the game. If protest is deemed correct all protest fees will be awarded back to
the coach or team representative. If forfeit is not granted, all fees will be kept for the betterment of
the tournament.
